My January 2012 Birchbox and MyGlam packages are both here.
Birchbox was surprisingly good this month, but I am jealous of everyone who got a Stila eyeliner. I think they look at age and decide that I must really want old lady skin care products. I meant to cancel last month, but this box was a nice treat. They get a reprieve for another month.
This was my first month with MyGlam. I’m impressed with this month’s bag. MyGlam is clearly the better deal this go ‘round. Let’s see if they can keep it up.

Algenist Firming & Lifting Cream - A generously sized sample.
FIX Malibu Immaculate Complexion Smoothing Serum - Serums don’t get along with my skin, but it seems nice. I’ll pass it along to my sister.
Juicy Couture fragrance sample - I wouldn’t wear it even if I liked it because they are most famous for those words on the butt sweat suits.
Zoya nail polish in Kendal- Love it!
‘wichcraft Granola - I had no idea Top Chef’s Tom Colicchio was in the snack business.
A goofy magnet upon which I’m supposed to write down reminders for how to “detox.”

Sheer Cover Duo Concealer - I believe this is a full-sized product and it may even be the right shades for me.
Wen Sweet Almond Mint Cleansing Conditioner - I’ll throw this one in the gym bag.
Freeman Cucumber Facial Peel-Off Masque - It also mentions some sachets, but I didn’t get those. Peel-off masques are really fun even if they aren’t the best thing for dry skin like I have.
theBalm Shady Lady in Shameless Shana - A nice bronze-y powder eye shadow.
All of these goodies came with a cute zakka-inspired makeup bag.
